Are your priorities right? Do you have them set straight and keep them straight?
Most people would say their priorities look something like this:
God
spouse
children
everything else
Now that looks good, in theory, but once you "do your time" with God ... where is He on your list for the rest of the day? Does He even really make your list once your "time" is done?
The Novelist and I have discussed this alot and believe Christian's priorities SHOULD be more like this:
God
God and Spouse
God and Children
God and everything else
Basically, God in EVERYTHING you do. God in every thought. God in every action.

In this technology-driven world, it's so easy to get online and mean to get things done, but get lost online following rabbit trails or playing games. How often I've sat down, thinking I'd spend just a few minutes checking something and realize that, suddenly, two hours have passed. So I've decided I need to prioritize time online as well. Online time doesn't happen until I've gotten what I want done around the house. Preferably after the children are asleep for the night. If that means I don't get online at all, fine. Who really cares? It's not like anything online is really going anywhere. It WILL be there tomorrow.
For now, my internet priorities look like this: check email, check blog/write post, check facebook/twitter if there's time, then check my Reader if I have time.
